Bug fixes

  • fix(deploy): pin Cilium to 1.20.2 — Cilium 1.20.0/1.20.1 crash at startup on kernel v7.2+ with a bpf_set_retval helper probe failure (R1 is not a scalar). Upstream fixed this in 67c619cb and backported it to the v1.20 line, releasing it as 1.20.2 (cilium/cilium#48016). The offline (airgap) image set was restored for the pinned versions and regression tests now guard the pin.

  • fix(contrib): harden the install script — real zstd capability probe via tar round-trip (instead of tar --zstd --help), unconditional NO_PROXY extension with loopback + in-cluster CIDR exemptions (fixes kubectl logs/exec failing with proxy 502), and process-name-based cleanup of rqlited/tandem in k8e-killall.sh.

  • chore: ignore .cni-build; Cilium chart version bump (hack/version.sh, pkg/version/version.go).
